Hiya
I'm trying to compact my database and receive an error.
I click to compact it and watch in the bottom left hand corner the status of the compact, the status bar seems to complete but then I get a message saying 'Record(s) can't be read: no read permission on <<file path>>. Following the error I get a compacted version of the database.
I have checked the permissions on the database and given myself full control as such but still get the error.
When I check the compacted version I can see no problems/difference with the data between the 2 files.
I've searched the forum but I am unable to find anyone else who has experienced this type of error.
Any ideas?
