Compacting database (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I am attempting to compact a database (approx. 290 Mb in size). However I keep getting the message "The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data".
I have run a repair on this database but still to no avail.
I have also successfully compacted another database which is over 350Mb in size.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Try creating a new database and importing the tables one at a time. This will either work or should identify the table that is causing the error and may help you to fix the problem. If the imports work then just import all items from the old database and you should have a copy which should be smaller, run compact on this copy to ensure the error does not occur here also.
