Compare Query

I have imported 2 excel worksheets into access as tables and I want to create a query that will compare column 1 which is employee name in one table to column 1 which is Field 1 in the other table. I am having trouble figuring this out.

Please Help
 
why not do
if table1.column1name=table2.column1name then
do something


This is easily done in the query wizard
?
 
When i'm in the query, what would be the criteria that I would use to get the two tables to compare the data to see what is missing?
 
to compare what is missing, or to just compare to see if they are the same?
 
It was to compare what was missing. I actually just had a co-worker stop by and help me out with it.

I appriciate your help though. I'm fairly new with access so I was struggling trying to find the right criteria.
