Hello everyone,

I am new to access db and I have a question that I am sure someone
can answer. Is it possible to copy a primary table and then compare the two
tables in order to discover what records have been changed within the primary table. That is to say, that if a primary table is being update on a daily basis can I then compare the primary table with the earlier copy to discover which records have been changed?
Can this be done with a query which will highlight only the records which have been altered?

Take a look at this "Audit Trail" Sample Db. It will allow you to see the original data, changes made to it and the User making the changes.

Thanks for the sample db, but I'm not sure this is what I am after.
What I really require is a query that I can run which will pull together
all the records that have changed so I can have a quick look prior to
refreshing my duplicate.
