Concatenate Name Error

I am trying to concatenate the first name and the last name in my form. When I view the form it gives me the error code of #Name? Im not sure what this means or if I have done something wrong. In another Datasheet for a different assignment, it worked. I followed the steps like I did before. What does this mean?

Try using the LEFT function on the full length name. Make sure that the field holding the concatenated name is long enough! You can also get the #NAME if the table does not have some of all of the fields being used. If something is not spelled correctly, that is like not having that filed in the table.

i expect you have a control with the same name as one of the fields you are concatenating

eg control employeename

controlsource = employeename & employeesurname

instant #name problem.
