Conditional Formatting Negative & Positive Numbers (1 Viewer)

Could I please receive assistance on why we cannot conditionally format some field in the attached 2003 Access Data Base?

Your suggestions will be appreciated.

If you are trying to format those labels to the left, you have to convert to a textbox. Instead of a caption your set the controlsource to something like ="Some Label". Lock it too.

All the fields are Text field except one that is a Currency field.
What do you suggest we should do to obtain conditional formating?

If you just want to change the font colour depending on sign, you can use the format property e.g.

0.00;[red]0.00

My boss would like to see a background colour in the field,
if a positive number Green
if a negative number Pink

no problem. use conditional formatting.

set the control back colour to green and use conditional formatting to change to pink when the number is negative - something like

field value is...... less than......0

for other controls which have conditional formatting based on the same field

expression is....[fieldname]<0
