Hi all,

I created an survey in access database so it would be easier to capture the data. it is really nice, but, then the problem is that not all have access installed. I was hoping that by creating it in html, it would be an easier solution. I started to look around in google, and found a lot, but I simply cant find examples. For me to learn, it would be easier to have an example and then see the inerworks. All I need is to capture the field values from the html survey into the access database.

Is there some one who has some examples? or provide a link to a page with examples?

Greetings.

I haven't done it myself, but if I needed to I'd look at collecting the data with a Google form into a Google spreadsheet and then get the data from the spreadsheet.

You can also collect data from Outlook emails, not done that either yet.

hi Uncle Gizmo,
Thanks for the info. I just wanted it like a html page that has some fields in it. when for example I would write in one field "test" and clicking the submit button, then the word "test" should be writen in the access database.

Greetings.

Alternatively... You can use web pages to enter data into an SQL server, and then link access to the SQL server. Seems a bit of an awkward way to go about it though . ....

hi, that was the solution I wanted, a web page to write to the access database. It is just to present a survey to the people and avoiding to have access on al pc's.

Greetings.
