Connect To Remove MySQL Server

Hello experts - I'm hoping someone can help me please?

I have a terminal server with Access 2010 on it.

I have been asked to connect to a remote MySQL server. This is in no way on my server, so it needs to be some sort of web access?

I can see that ODBC is the way to go, however can someone point me towards an article that shows me how to ODBC to a MySQL Server that is not local please?
