Control height

I currently have a text box in a report which is called "solid" with a dark grey background. It only becomes visible if there is more than one detail relating to my grouping.

I have been trying to get this text box to grow to the height of the largest control in the report so it looks like it is fills a "cell". I have all the lines in place through code already (growing to the max height of the detail section.

can somebody please help me make this work?

Place a Box, the size of the control you want to match on your report, and then place your Control inside the box, Set it's can grow property to yes.

Unless I'm not understanding you this should look like you want it to.

Thanks for the reply, but it didnt work unfortunately. i tried a mixture of different boxes but to no avail.

Is this even possible to resize a control on print/preview?
