Convert Database Application to a Web Application

I have created an extensive database application in Access 2007 for a client and they are now have asked me to create a web application. What is the best way to either convert my database to a web application or what is the best tool/language to get started?

A Terminal Server with VPN. This yields the database through a secure login into a Terminal Server.

If you want a web application there is ASP.Net using Microsoft Visual Web Designer or PHP. Some suggest using a MySql or MS SQL Server.
