I have two separate reports. They have identical formatting. When I click on Adobe: Convert to PDF, this is what happens. Report 1 will convert with light blue in the column headers. Report 2 will convert with grey scale in the column headers. I have no clue as to how to make them both light blue or both grey scale. My boss wants them to match. Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Jessa

I'm guessing you may have different colors for the regions and they display the same because of some windows limits. I would double the the settings in the properties...

Nope, exact same formatting. I even checked all the properties numbers & it all matches...

Would it be hard to rebuild one or the other from scratch, sometimnes thats eaiser than trying to run down some obscure setting - :)

That might work too. My only complaint is the amount of reports this happens with. It will be very time consuming but if it is just a glitch in the machine....I don't have much choice. LOL

I understand. Does it print different on the same machine or is one being printed from one pc and one off another pc? It may be some kind of driver issue...

Same machine. But it is at the convert level to pdf, not to a paper form, The first pdf will have light blue & the second pdf will have color in the header row. Both reports have the same formatting, meaning that both reports have light blue in access for their herder rows. I can not put them in 1 report because they have to many columns. So the first report is 14 columns with pages 1,3,5,7. The second has 15 columns with pages 2,4,6,8. I blend them once they are in their pdf's.

I don't have a solution, just some things to try to maybe drive to a cause. What happens when you try to set the areas in both reports to some other color, maybe even white - ?

That is what I ended up doing. I made all of the headers grey scale. My pretty blue is gone. :-( LOL

Thanks for your help!

I know you found an alternative but I'm still curious.

Can we see a screen print of one of the column headers in Design View and a screen print of the column headers of both reports in the PDF?
