Hi pple,

From what i know, Microsoft Access could convert Reports into word document or html fomat. I am wondering if it could also convert the reports into *.pdf format. If do, pls advise thanks. I want my access database to be able to output report in pdf format... Thanks.

From what I understand, you purchase and install pdf writer. Then, when you print the report, you send it to a 'pdf' writer that shows up as an option in the printer dialog box. So when you 'print', instead of going to a printer, it is converted and saved as a pdf file.

thanks, i think i need to search for a pdf writer..

Search for CutePDF on google. It is a free application that can be used for this purpose.

PDF Writer

Anothe good one is PDF 995 - on their developer FAQ they also have a code example which shows you how to print an Access report straight to PDF - without any user intervention . ..

If you go to www.pdf995.com you will find it . . .

I had installed PDF995 once and gave it a test run. Doesn't it have a sponsor page that pulls up unless you pay for a license? I didn't try operating it via code, but I would assume the same applies.
