copying field data

I am using access 2007 and cannot seem to find in the field properties.:banghead:

I need to input data in one field in a table and it appears in a field within a different table, but I am not sure how to do this. can anyone help?

Hi,
can you be more specific, are the tables related to each other? did you create any relation as One to One or One to Many on them, or they are stand alone tables? do you have them on the same form as a master link table and Child link table?
if you can attach some images or explain more then I can write you the proper code.

I am a real novice with access, so not sure how to send some examples. Also when I try to set up a 1 2 1 relationship I get an error. I have made the fields identicle i.e. text fields and field size (10)
