I am running MS Access 2000 on Windows XP PC.

Ok the deal is this - I have created a MS Access database alowing the user to set a "going home time" and have the database refresh the remaining hours, minutes, seconds to go onto a form every second.

So far so good but what I'd really like to do is have it as a Wallpaper on my desktop. So what I did was create a report which outputs as a HTML file, every second, showing the time and set the Desktop Wallpaper to the HTML file. Unfortunately, I looked up some code to set the Desktop Wallpaper to a specified file but it wont work when selecting a HTML file as the Desktop Wallpaper - only bmp files.

Is there any code for setting the Desktop Wallpaper as a HTML file?

Any help appreciated!

I don't have an answer for you as far as the bitmap part, but I would highly suggest that, unless you have really beefy machines, that you avoid having this "clock" feature as it does take up a fair amount of system resources to refresh every second. Just speaking from experience. You have the potential of slowing your users down if they are trying to use multiple programs.
