I was unclear in my question. Basically, I'm needing to get a rank of two fields in a report. Setting up one field for this in the report works fine (use control source =1 --it's basically a rank). The other is more difficult. So, I'm assuming I need the query itself to produce the rank so it can be added to the report separately. So is there a way within the query screen to set up a field to "count down" the list of results from the query in the same way that a report will allow you to do if you set the control source=1 and running total to "over all"?
