I have a database in which I perform an update query on startup to update a field. The field contains a numerical value. What I'm looking to do is to have a text box on the switchboard form showing the number of occurances within the updated field which are below 30. I'm not quite sure what the best way is to do this. An ideas would be most welcome.

The easiest way is to include a textbox with a Domain Count as the Control Source.

DCount("fieldname","table/queryname","fieldname<30")
