I hope this makes sense. I’ve been asked to create a form for work that displays data for how we inspect properties. I’ve got a form that I’ve created, within that form I’ve placed text boxes for where the information is going to be displayed.
On my table I have a field called ‘inspection due’ which has dates in it. What I am trying is to get a total of how many inspections are going to become due in 16 – 18 months, then 12-16 months etc. What I’m struggling with is the expression.
I’ve learnt that I can’t use the count expression as this looks at yes no fields but I’m unsure on how to write the expression. I’ve been searching for the answer for days but still can’t find it.
How do you count how many dates are between say today (I know the date() expression) and know if you are enclosing dates you would use the # symbol but how would I get this to work for a count?
Hope someone can help, and would appreciate this as it is now extremely frustrating.
Cheers,
Ric

Take a look at the the DateDiff() function

How about you use a DateDiff (see help) to figure out the month(s) between the due date and NOW() (see help)

Then make a crosstab (use wizard) to count and pivot the data.
