Create a spreadsheet look for a report

This is my first project which requires creation of a report, I need to create a report which has a spreadsheed look (borders around cells). the way I am doing it now is by drawing a horizontal line for the top and bottom of rows but I am not able to create the vertical lines. is there an easy way to create the vertical and horizontal lines in the report?

Just turn on the borders in the format of the report controls.

but out of interest - why is it critical for the report to resemble a spreadsheet? I certainly wouldn't spend ages and ages messing with a report layout to get that effect.

a report is different being limited in width, and, and not editable when printed.

if you WANT a spreadsheet - save the underlying query AS a spreadsheet, surely?

I print grids for reports in landscape a lot.
