Hello!

I am having an issue I hope someone can help me with. I am trying to create a basic form where some data will stay the same for multiple entries and than will duplicate that data for each new entry (I am have a hard time explaining it)

Basically this is what it would look like:

Sender - Address - City - State - Zip
Receiver - Address - City - State - Zip

===============================

Inventory Item - Number - Type - Qty
Inventory Item - Number - Type - Qtc
Repeat
Repeat
Repeat

Each inventory item would end up creating a new record and plug the data in red into every one of those records for me. In the table it would plug in like this:

1 Inventory Item - Number - Type - Qty Sender - Address - City - State - Zip Receiver - Address - City - State - Zip
2 Inventory Item - Number - Type - Qty Sender - Address - City - State - Zip Receiver - Address - City - State - Zip
3 Inventory Item - Number - Type - Qty Sender - Address - City - State - Zip Receiver - Address - City - State - Zip
4 Inventory Item - Number - Type - Qty Sender - Address - City - State - Zip Receiver - Address - City - State - Zip
5 Inventory Item - Number - Type - Qty Sender - Address - City - State - Zip Receiver - Address - City - State - Zip

I have no clue how to do this any help would be great!

Thanks

Thanks for your help with this it worked with the exception of one small error.

For some reason when a new record is created it does not fill the next record automatically. What happens when I move down to the first field to enter (It is a drop down for state) it gives me the following error:

"Object does not support this property or method"

My thought is that because the drop down has a relationship with another table that might be why an error is happening.

I also had a question:

Is it possible to plug this code into a button so I can have one button that would create a new blank record and one that would continue the previous record?

Any help with this would be great!

Using a button is probably easier. Put the desired values into variables, go to a new record (GoToRecord), then put the values back into the form controls.
