If I have a field, let's say "Job Skill", and they are a 5 digit code, like 46R2. I need to find all the 46R codes except the 2's(last digit). I'm trying to write a mismatch report that will show all the skill level 2 who are in the wrong skill level job like (1 or 3's). Any help is appreciated.

Are we talking US Army Military Occupation Specialties (MOS) , e.g. 46R = Broadcast Journalist, vs skill level (pay grade)?

YES. I'm trying to find all the E5 SGT who have an MOS not in the 2 skill level. So I need to run it so it'll search for All the skill levels except 2. For example I have a list of SGT and thier 3 mos and want to search those mos for anything but skill level 2 mos.
I've tried RIGHT([POSC],1) but I can only search for one number like 3. Any ideas.

Please provide more information. You're obviously dealing with at least two tables here. Please describe them. Are you dealing with ranks or paygrades, e.g. SGT = E5 = SkillLevel 2, which a lot of folks won't know or understand.
