I have an odd question. The following works for me in my qry criteria line:

[forms]![frmNSBulkMain]![txtCatalogueReportPriceLevel]

But i changed my form ...... frmNsBulkMain .... to ..... 7002frm NS Bulk Main.

so now the criteria line looks like:

[forms]![7002frm NS Bulk Main]![txtCatalogueReportPriceLevel]

Suddenly, my qry does not work. it appears to me, that the SPACE in the form name is throwing this off. Is there a way to use my new form name with the spaces??

regards

Sorry, I have to ask why you would go in the opposite direction of good programming practice and add spaces to object names.

I know it breaks the rules. but i find it easier to see my qry's.

i think i will take out the spaces. thanks anyway.

If you prefer, use underscores like: 7002frm_NS_Bulk_Main

It should work even with spaces check your spells

thanks. it just occurred to me to use the underscore.
as for the spelling, i triple checked and all looked good. i notice that on my crosstab qry's, access uses the underscore. so i will go with that. my qry names then line up real nice. thanks for all your help
