I'm trying to develop a training matrix which will show a list of employees vs. their trained skills. I have gotten the basics of the tables and cross tab query complete which gives a value from 1-5 depending on training status, but was wondering the best way to present this ? I'd like it to show it visually with an image similar to the one attached depending on skill level vs. the number 1-5 where:
1 = training identified, Black circle, one quadrant filled in
2 = able to work satisfactory with supervision, black circle, two quadrants filed in
3 = Competent, black circle, three quadrants filled in
4 = Able to train others, solid Green circle
5 = Training required, but not scheduled, red circle or warning symbol
There would be ~200 staff and likely 20-30 different types of training. I'm trying to avoid having to manually maintain a matrix as well as the training log.
Would this be best exported to excel, or create a report? How do I create the images (conditional formatting, can an image be part of a crosstab report, etc.)? If someone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Aaron
