I have a report that display those who are >=57 years old and has their (Age + Years of Service) >= 75 for any chosen year or years. The names are grouped by Department.
Now I need to display a little summary that tell me how many employees are gonna retired in each YEAR for each DEPARTMENT. Also, display the % of each YEAR for each DEPT.
(Total retire of 1 year in a dept./total employees in that dept). I also need to display the total retire for ALL DEPT of each year and the % (total retire/total employees).
The summary would look something like this:
Dept1; Dept2; Dept3;....; Total
2000 5, 25% 13, 12% 20, 22% 120, 18%
2001 8, 26% 20, 15% 25, 23% 150, 20%
I've never done crosstab report before. It shows an empty field list when I have a crosstab query as the report's record source.
I would appreciate very much for all your help.

You might look at the sample database solution.mdb that comes with Access.

There are excellent examples in it for creating crosstab reports; even one that contains dynamic headings across the page.

If solution.mdb wasn't loaded onto your machine when Access was installed, you should be able to find it on the install disk.
