Crystal Report Chart (1 Viewer)

Hello -

I have a report that consists of two fields - YEAR and TTL PEOPLE. The TTL PEOPLE field is a running total, cout of the number of people all grouped by year. So in essence, the data looks like this:

2005 - 25
2006 - 105
2007 - 12

My chart only consists of the above two fields; however, the chart is not working for the TTL PEOPLE (I think because it is a running total field (count) rather than an actual field, but I have no way else to do it.

Can anyone help/recommend alternatives on how to make this work for me?

Hi Karen,

What version are you using? In the Chart Expert (Insert>Chart) you should see an advanced button under the Layout header. Click it and you will be able to select the fields required.

I have noit been able to recreate you problem but I have attached some docs that may help. If they dont please attach a copy of your report to your next post and I'll take a look.
