Currency format Question

Hi, all--

I have field in which I want to use currency formatting. When I set the field size to "single", format to "currency" and decimal places to "2", I find I get many more decimals when editing a value than I want, none of which I entered.

For example, I entered 57.24 and when editing, the value reads as 57.2400016784668. Where did all the extra decimal places come from? I didn't enter them and I don't want them!

Any ideas?

Go back to the table and change the data type to currency rather than single.
