Curses to you OrderByOn!

I just wasted 3 hours of precious sleep only to discover the OrderByOn property!!!

I must have gone through every macination of object.Requery, DoCmd.Requery, and SetFocus on my form and subform only find that there is an OrderByOn property!!! Now why would Bill ever think that if I go to the trouble and assign something to the .OrderBy property that I need another something (the wicked OrderByOn property) to tell Access that I really did mean to set the OrderBy property!!! Geeeeeez!

You are absolutely right. I think we've all had the frustration.

The only thing I can guess is that they wanted a way to shut it off, and then toggle it back on.

But why it defaults to 'off' instead of 'on' if you have set the OrderBy property is beyond me.
