Just recently updated to 2007 and found something I would like to adjust.... But can't find out how, or if I can.
I have a DB done in Access xp, it has a custom toolbar. Well, works fine in 2002,2003... but when I open the DB in 2007 first, I have to click "Add ins" to even get it to appear and then it is WAY too big! It is only about 5 small items...A-z, Z-a, "Lightning bolt" for filter on, and "filter off" but the height is the same as the other "Ribbon". Is there a way to adjust the appearance? AND make it visible when the DB opens?

Thanks

I am guessing most people dont have 2007 yet so it may take a while to get a valid response...

I have 2003 so I cant help neither but figure I would toss you some food for thought...

sry.

Well, it sounds like we've lost the custom toolbars...... And that BITES! Well I have just started learning the new 2007..... The "ribbons" 6 times too big! The pain of having to click "Enable" to every DB on my computer is annoying! I hope I find something soon to be impressed with....... The only saving grace of 2007 is the add in for developers extensions........ If they ever show up.......

I've just encountered the same problem and I find I can import custom toolbars (expand the options on the import dialog and check the import toolbars radio button), although it doesn't make any difference that I can see to the ribbon. This website (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access/HA100365441033.aspx) explains how to limit the menu options but it's not very helpful because it does it for everything and not just the forms I want to limit options for. I don't yet love Access 2007 and I expect my users are just going to hate it when they have to "up"-grade as well.
