custom toolbar on a popup report

Have you tried using a shortcut menu bar? You can customize them easily and they will work with popup reports. Just a suggestion.

Hi Toby,

Thats a nice suggestiion and certainly gets much closer to what I want.

Am I right in thinking that when using this method the user would need to right click and then choose from the shortcut menu? Ideally I'd like to make it as simple for the user as possible and just have two choices visibly available to the user when the popup report is full screen, one choice to print the report and one to close it. It would be great if these could be displayed at all times. Is this possible?

With a shortcut menu bar, the user would have to right click and select the menu items from the list. That may be difficult for some users as its a hidden feature.

Another option could be changing your report from a popup to modal and then you could use a custom toolbar which would be displayed when the report opens. That might be the way to go. Sorry, can't do much with with a popup report.
