Greetings,

I have a split Database into Back-End and Front-End. I want to hide the Access Customize Option in my Front-End. I have tried to make the Database ACCDE but the option still appears to Customize the Access Database.

I also want to know why is it that when i make a Database ACCDE - some of the codes are not working properly???

Regards,

Sunny

Are you hiding the tool bars, menu bars on startup?
How is the end-user getting to the Access Customize Option?

Yes, I am hiding them but when they right click on the Access Icon on the Top Left, they are having the option to customize....:banghead:

Do you have error trapping so that you can report on the Code fault.

Other than that I is not possible to say why the code fails when one can't see the code.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply... I was OOO for a while. I am not getting any error message but it's only when i click the button for the event to take place, it never happens. :banghead:

OK. My Main problem is that I want to hide the "Customize Quick Access Toolbar" when the users right-click on the Windows Icon on the top left corner in Access. I have done some research and getting answers that i can hide it but no option how...

I do not want my users to actually use my database and view all my report formulas and functions... Or actually see my queries and see how things have been done.

Regards,

Sunny

We are playing in the dark here.

Can you post a copy of your Database.

Strip out all the sensitive stuff.

Greetings Everyone,

Sorry for the delay in posting this back - I was away for a while. Ok - I have attached just a sample Database.

When you open the Database, it opens up default to Form2. When you right-click on upper left corner on the MS Logo, you have an option to actually customize the database and change default display to let's say Form1 and also make navigation, table, queries visible, etc.

I want my users not to be able to modify any of the display settings/ properties of the database.

Is this doable? Let me know and Thanks for your Help!

It is doable however I don't use Access after 2003.

So it is difficult for me to help.

I am sure someone with a later version could help.

Anyone has any work-around with this??? I have tried different change in properties but still not able to get that done...
