I have a database, which I use the code below to hide all the standard menu's and command bars etc

Dim i As Integer

For i = 1 To CommandBars.Count
CommandBars(i).Enabled = False
Next i

This works fine, except i loose the right hand click menu on the mouse. I picked this code up from a post on this forum (not sure who's, apologies). I rememeber reading with the post that is does suppress the right hand click mouse menu.

Is there a way to re-activate it, while still leaving the menus etc hidden?

I have played around with the copying to and pasting from the clipboard with command buttons, which seems to work ok, just not as streamlined or fancy enough for me.

Any possible ideas welcomed

many thanks

Instead of iterating through and disabling the menus, why not uncheck

"Allow Full Menus"
"Allow Built-in Toolbars"
"Allow Toolbar/Menu Changes"
"Allow Default Shortcut Menus"

in the startup options and then create your own menu/toolbar and assign them to the forms/reports you want them on. You can even assign your own custom right-click menu by doing this:
