hey guys
Im new to access and ive been creating a database. Ive been advised to use D Lookup as a search function, but dont know where to find it. How do I put one onto a form?

Cheers

Steve

Access help says this

You can use the DLookup function to get the value of a particular field from a specified set of records (a domain). Use the DLookup function in Visual Basic, a macro, a query expression, or a calculated control on a form or report.

and there are examples. There are also examples in the Northwind Db on the Acess CD

Hello Stevo!

Look at "DemoDLookupA97.mdb" (attachment).
Open Form1.
