Data Access Page - filtering

If I have a table that has a different staff person assigned to each record, and I want to design a data access page so that each staff person can bring up only their records on the page... how do I approach that?

Basically I want the staff person to go to the data access page, choose their name, and their records show up. I have the page made and it works... except all the records show for all staff persons. Under the gun, need help!
 
I have searched and I see that DAP's are going away, but even if this is a temporary fix, Ill take it until I can get something else in place. We are running Office XP, moving to 2010 later this year.
 
a couple of hours and 2 advil later, I figured it out.
