Hi,

I'want to 'publish' the results of a query to the Internet, so the customers themselves can go and check status of production data.

I've looked a bit into Access Data Pages, but feel I'm getting nowhere, as it creates more questions than answers.

The db collects productional data from the production. This database is on a company network with a be/fe setup.

Would I need to publish the 'entire db (meaning that the production users would need to use the data access pages also?

Or is there a connection between the company server and the customers using the access pages? I don't know if the company server is connected to any WEB-page or what (I'm uncertain of the right terminology here) . If the latter is the case, where can I find good information on this?

The customers should only be able to read data from the query, after entering two dates used as criteria for the query. In addition a 'login page' would be great.

Thanks in advance for any help. Very much appreciated.

Thanks very much for your reply Meltdown and the links. I'll study this, but I think I'm going to use ASP. Where can I find good info on how to set up/make asp pages for my task?

Thanks again!
