Can a Data Access Page be designed like a continuous form? Cant seem to find an option in the page properties?

Hope this isn't a "long-term" project as Data Access Pages are no longer available in future versions of Access (starting with Access 2007).

I can't say with 100% accuracy that there is no continuous ability within DAP's but I would be very surprised to find such functionality.

Bob,

What is the long term of future versions of Access. It just seems that Access is adopting a lot web features:

Color = #fffffff, using Margins, Borders Grid et al.

I shouldn't really ask but you have alluded to the next version of Office in another thread and as you seem to a fount of knowledge, curiosity has got the better or me.

The long term future of Access, I believe, is a good bet. The kind of stuff that Microsoft is doing in Access 14 makes me think that it will be around for quite a while yet. As for specifics, I'm afraid I can't go there as it would cost me my MVP Award and I'd rather not get kicked out, if I can help it. But, I have seen the next version of Access (in November and also this month at the MVP Summit). So, all I can say is that I do believe it will be a good version and have a lot of what people are looking for (and will fix a lot of annoyances from 2007).

Forgive my inpertinance, but what we would really like to see from Access 14 is proper web transformations. Not just the transitional formats of Office 2007 Outlook that no longer parse through IE's rendering engine but proper strict formats that suppport floating divs.

I have my say.

Thanks for your reply.

Simon
