Greetings and Happy New Year!
I'm trying to bypass the boxed versions or services of a data feed creator for Shopping Comparison Engines like Froogle (Product Search), Bizrate.com, Shoppzilla, etc.
Has anyone created such a tool using Access?
My client(s) will send me an excel file of products along with numerous additional fields of information. What i need to do is take that spreadsheet and reformat it into the shopping comparison engine layout. Not a big deal with one to one layouts, however, i have multiple clients with different layouts and multiple shopping engines to output to.
Ideally this process needs to be as dumbded down as much as possible so junior account managers can take these excel files, import them themselves, map the input fields to the output, and then export a file ready for importing to the engines. I would think using a form of some sort would be best.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
