Is there a query, or queries that can transform this data ...

Company A 200 2
Company A 400 3
Company A 300 5
Company B 500 1
Company B 500 2
Company C 100 2
Company C 100 4

Into ...

Company A 200 400 300
Company B 500 500
Company C 100 100

Thanks.

use the QUERY WIZARD and make a CROSSTAB query,
rows: company
colums: col 3
value: col 2

Yes, but...

1. Why? What do you hope to achieve with the data like that?

2. How many fields is that in the result? 2, 3, 4 or 5? Delmit your data with commas, not spaces.

My columns didn't not show up right in the post.

Sorry for the confusion ...

I'll try it again ...

Company A....Blank....200....400....Blank...300
Company B....500....500...Blank....Blank...Blank
Company C....Blank....100...Blank....100....Blank

That was quick, and you understood.

And thanks "Plog" for the proper posting method.

The final result would have 6 fields.

Company,1,2,3,4,5

Ranman's solution should work but it would help to hear your answer to plog's question. Why do this?

Got It.

Thanks Ranman256

The data is actually persons or companies that have pledged money to a Non-profit radio station and the last digit is which specific drive the money was given.

I want to create a scrolling sub-form in a horizontal layout, with one line per person, showing how much each person gave for each drive.

I hope this clears it up. And again thanks for the posting/ replying tips
