I have used the Data Splitter option on tools, to try to protect my data from ME! And guess what, it works, however, I need to change and add fields to the tables, and now I can't do anything. It says "Table "X" is a linked table, with properties that can't be modified". Does anyone know how I can get around this? Thank you for your help, (in the past as well as now)!

Remember when you split your database, you are completely working with 2 different databases. One has all of your tables and the other one has all of your forms, queries, macros, etc. So, you have to find out what name you chose when you split your database. If you can't remember, go to tools and look under Linked Table Manager which will show where your tables are linked to. Then open that database that has your tables and that is where you will be able to change your tables
