Data type to changed in Import

this question i googled but unsatisfied results, please help me out:

I have excel, which i want to import in Access, but i need data type to get changed as text when imported, how can i do that?

Why not just set up a Temp table with the Data Types you want and import into the Temp table then push to Live table?
