Hi,
I've got a query about an Access97 application that has a FE/BE file run on the users C drive. It is used only by one person, and there are several times during the day where the database needs to backup while the user is still logged on.
I have looked at possibly implementing synchronization if this is a solution. However I do not know enough about it and also what the implications are using it (ie does is slow the application down etc).
Can anyone help me out with info about how synchronization works and it's implications? or is there another way of backing up easily without logging the user off?
Much appreciated.
