Hi
I apologise if this seem slightly irrelevant to this site but I don't think it is, basically I have been asked to design a database and am having trouble designing the tables. I have attached a spreadsheet showing the data I have available so I can ask for specific help about how to decide which tables to make, what fields and primary or foreign keys they will need.
I will be creating my database in Microsoft Access but am just planning and am more familiar with Microsoft Excel.
I created the field Customer ID but the rest are all of the fields (except that I split address into the 3 listed categories and split customer into 3 categories)
I have added comments on cells that are either primary or foreign key.
I'm not sure if I can add surname as a foreign key to both my hire and cars table but whats done is done.
