Database for Metal Market Prices to be used in another database

JL,

Is there any chance you could post this again in 2003 format please.?

I'd love to have a look at it, but cannot open accdb files.

TIA

Attached is a sophisticated answer to your issue. Since the person entering prices will have to use 2 pcs or go back and forth to find metal prices, I am suggesting an auto display of the web page corresponding to the market/metal.

Hope you will like it, as for me it was fun to create...

Good luck, JLC

Here is a mdb format: should do the job.

Good day.

Thank you for taking the time of trying JL, but it crashes Access when I open it, and then corrupts the mdb.

The second time I open it appears fine, but when trying to open a form or table I get the corruption message.

Then it will not Compact and Repair.nor can I back it up as it recommends.

I tried opening it without any autoexec that might exist, but it still happens. :(

Edit: Just seen the second copy, but it does the same.

I am stuck with this goddamn A2013 that came with Office 365: it's full of bugs! I'll try to contact MS (again) about it. Stay tune...

JLCantara,

Don't spend any more time on it for my request. It was just something I would have liked to see how it was done, but it is not worth you wasting your time, if you are not going to use it, or it is working for the O/P

Gasman: of course it won't work! since it is using a control that didn't exist at that time. My problem is simple: my version of A2013, came with Office 365, is fu.. up! I cannot open an app as an .mdb...
