Dear All,

I am new in Acess 2007. I am looking for a databse to keep track of tools in my shop and also to remind me whenever individual tools are due for recalibration. I found a very good databse on net but it is in .mde. So i cannot edit it according to my requirements. Sample attched for ref. Can somebody send me a similar databse if have. Thanks IN advance for everyone's support.
Regards.

Hmmm, going to say no one has one they are going to sending. So, are you planning on building it? We can help with that.

Are you aware that you can import the tables and queries from an MDE into a new MDB? Unfortunately I think you are prevented from importing forms / reports which is often where most of the work goes into designing a new application. But certainly the table and query import would give a handy head start in re-engineering the system again.

You are very unlikely to be able to find someone who can just give you the whole application as it is in the format you want. Unless you can get in touch with the original designer.

Dear All,

I know very basic in Access .i am unable to make any databse. But as I am handling all the tools calibrations in my job so i need this type of databse to ease my job. So I need your experts help to make a similar databse for me. Everyone's support will be highly appriciated.Regards

Sorry to put this so bluntly...

You are asking an UNpaid volunteer to create a database specifically for you for free. That is not likely to happen, sorry. Most here either have day jobs or do this for a proffession. We will be more then happy to work with you with you doing most of the work... like creating tables and queries and forms and us working out the problems/issues... However, build the entire thing, sorry, but unlikely...
