Hello.

I am trying to re-create a db system which used a backend database for some of the information. I have opened the backend db in access and there does not seem to be any information in this database when I know for a fact there is.

How do I go about viewing the tables etc in the database.

Bach.

Have you tried holding shift as you open the database?

thanks

I have tried this the db was created in 97. i am on 2000/03 so i am getting the followinfg message.

The current user account doesn't have permission to convert or enable this database.

Anything I can do.

If you are able to open the database, you can make the hidden tables visible by using Tools/Options and clicking on the show system and hidden tables. If you think there are still tables you can't "see", open the MSysObjects table and look at the table names.
