This might sound silly, but how do I create a database in SQL Server Express 2005

I downloaded and installed SQL Server Express 2005 (SQLEXPR_ADV.exe) from the MS website and installed it.

On my start menu I have a folder called
Microsoft SQL Server 2005
>Configuration Tools
>Reporting Services Configuration
>SQL Server Configuration manager
>SQL Server Error and usage Reporting
>SQL Server Surface Area Configuration

The problem is, I don’t know how or where to create a database and open it for editing.

I did manage to create a database via Reporting Services Configuration but I can’t get in to add tables and information.

Am I missing something!!! :(

Yes you need sql server management studio, which is what is used for creating databases and admnistering.

I have not used sql express so I am not sure whether it includes management studio or not, I would assume it does

But I do know that elements of visual studio 2005 are required for it to run
