I inherited a job for a client who had purchased a Access Database in about 2003 - 2004. It looks like the DB was created in Access 2003. The problem is the company that made it (some small outfit) is no longer in business and no one can get in touch with anyone for help.
They need to change some information on one of the reports that as far as I can tell cannot be changed anywhere in the GUI. When I go to open the report in design veiw I am getting a permissions error.
After some research it looks like they set up User Level Security as I would expect however the problem is I do not have access to no know how to get past the missing file (mdw?)
Can anyone tell me if they are just flat out of luck or is there something I can do to work around this?
