DataType Hyperlink

My FORM contains a Field Named "Web Site" Data Type "Hyperlink"
My Application Works GREAT using the default Web Browser:
"Internet Explorer"
But I have an exception. I need to Open a Web Page using a different Web BROWSER "Google Chrome".

A desk top shortcut works and looks like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" https://pawsd.aquahawk.us/login

How can I get this to work in an Access DB Hyperlink field? :banghead:

An Access hyperlink is composed of 3 parts separated by # character. http://allenbrowne.com/casu-09.html

Can use an UPDATE query to populate hyperlink field. Most experienced developers don't use hyperlink field and instead use code to trigger hyperlink with FollowHyperlink method.

Ooops, just caught you want to use Chrome. AFAIK, would have to set Chrome as default browser or run Shell command https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5915325/open-google-chrome-from-vba-excel
