Question Date not transfering to mail merge correctly

Hi Everyone,

Hope someone can help me.

I have a access database and one of the fields is Date.
I use the date picker that comes with 2007 to select the date and it show up as a lond date, i.e 1 July 2011.

i have checked the Table and its set to: Date/Time and Long Date
but when i mail merge it into word it comes through as 01/07/11

how can i get it to show as 1 July 2011?

please help me

Tony you have to look at the merge field in the word document. then you would have to adjust the code behind the field, like this

{ MERGEFIELD mydate \*Mergeformat }

Would become

{ MERGEFIELD mydate \@"DD/MM/YYYY" \*Mergeformat }

Check out formatting date fields in word mail merge, after changing the field format you then change the view of the Field again and go onto another record before you see the change.
