Hi Everyone,

I have done some searvhing thru this forum and found some similar problems but nothing specifically the same.

I have an Access DB that was written on a PC with Windows XP and Access 2003. After upgrading to Vista Business the Text Box's I have with the default field "=Date()" now shows only as "#Name?"

If I enter a date in there the function works fine it's just no longer showing the date automatically. I have looked at the Reference fields in VB and had a number of "Missing" available references. I've removed them and still have the same issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance - Scott :)

Thanks for your help guys.

It's actually now fixed. Sad new is I don't actually know how I did it. Damn!

I am still using Access 2003 not 2007 so the link you supplied Bob although usefull didn't help me out. That said, I did lower the Macro security in Access and it brought up a couple of Dll files that were missing so I went into VB and removed them.

After compliling, it then worked. Weird!

Cheers again and thanks for the speedy posting from you both.
