Date() Problem

Hi All,
I have just installed my DB on a new PC and all works fine except one Date() field. It works fine with Now() but returns the error - 'Unknown function 'Date' in validation expression or default value on 'MY TABLE NAME.MY FIELD NAME' - if I change Now() to Date(). I've checked all references and they match the other PC's using the DB with Date(). It's been a long day so if someone could help I'd be most grateful.

Delete the date control from your form, save and close the form. Reopen the form then drag the date field from the Field List back onto the form. See if that fixes the problem.

Still no luck! It's in the table design I can't change from Now() to Date() even if I empty the table. Any other ideas???

You almost certainly have a Reference problem, this site should help

You have checked your references and none are mark "MISSING"? Is so, uncheck that item and try again. Ususally that is the problem but since you said you checked your references I assumed that the problem was elsewhere. The only other thing would be to create a new form and see if you still have that problem and if you do then I am completely out of ideas....

FOUND IT!!! One of the references was in a different Directory. Doh!!! How stupid do I feel!!
