I want to display the date range of a query in a report header. The date field of the query has this-Between [Enter Beginning Date:] And [Enter End Date:]. In a text box on the report I have in the control source the following-=[Enter Beginning Date:] And [Enter End Date:]. The problem is when I run the report it prompts me once for the beginning date and twice for the ending date and does not print the range based on the input in the text box of the header. Can anyone advise me on how to correct this? Thanks.

In the control source of your text box on your report put this:
=Format([Enter Shipping Begining Date:],"mm/dd/yy") & " through " & Format([Enter Shipping End Date:],"mm/dd/yy")

Still having the same problem except now it is prompting me twice for a beginning date. If I don't enter the beginning date twice then it doesn't print the range. I took the code out of the date field in the query and while that will give me only the beginning and end date prompt for the report, It doesn't print out the specified range, it gives me every record.

In your query put this :
Between[Enter Shipping Begining Date:] And [Enter Shipping End Date:]

You see the critaria that you have in your query has to exactly match the same on your report, otherwise, it will not work. Let me know if it works or not.

Thanks Sohaila

For this
=Format([Enter Shipping Begining Date:],"mm/dd/yy") & " through " & Format([Enter Shipping End Date:],"mm/dd/yy")

was just what I was looking for

cheers
